VELSECCO

For several years now, the Velechovsky family has been producing the outstanding Velsecco on the outskirts of Linz – a sparkling wine in the refined Prosecco style. The Concordia grapes for this exceptional wine all come from their own vineyards. The annual harvest at the Nussböckgut estate on the sunny Gaumberg hill, carried out with meticulous care by hand, is an event in itself.

A single bottle of Velsecco is the ideal introduction for those who want to become connoisseurs of this regional delicacy from Upper Austria. This completely dry sparkling wine from Leonding is particularly well-suited as an aperitif or as a sensual accompaniment to a special evening. Details

After the grapes have been cooled and slowly fermented on the must, our Velsecco is produced using a gentle process, which is deliberately made very dry in order to fully bring out the aromas and bouquet of the rare Concordia grape.

Tasting note:

A radiant, intense cherry red, with a particularly intense aroma of wild strawberries on the nose, underpinned by raspberry notes, fruit-forward on the palate with tart redcurrant notes and a pronounced acidity structure – an incomparable delight from Upper Austria!
