VELSECCO - BLACK

Our Velsecco BLACK shares the same grapes as our excellent Velsecco, all of which are from our own vineyards. The annual grape harvest at the Nussböckgut estate on the sunny Gaumberg is a special event in itself, carried out with meticulous care by hand.

Details

After the grapes have been cooled and slowly fermented on the skins, our Velsecco-Black matures in the bottle during the second fermentation - Méthode Traditionnelle - for 36 months on the fine lees and produces a beautifully fine perlage.

Tasting note:

The result is a full-bodied, mature sparkling wine with delicate yeasty notes that mingle with jammy wild strawberries. Zero dosage – an absolutely dry, unparalleled drinking pleasure from Upper Austria!
